Tarangire National Park
You'll have an early breakfast and thereafter, we'll depart for Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In some places, the vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass, acacia woodlands and lush groundwater forest. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffe, bushbuck and hartebeest. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire than anywhere else on the planet. Giant baobab trees that are over 200 years are scattered within the park. Late in the afternoon, drive to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and on to Serengeti National Park with game viewing en-route. Serengeti is undoubtedly the best-known wildlife sanctuary in the world, unequaled for its natural beauty and scientific value. It has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa. It is the migration for which the Serengeti is perhaps most famous. Over a million wildebeest and about 200,000 zebras flow south from the northern hills to the southern plains for the short rains every October and November. They then swirl west and north after the long rains in April, May and June. So strong is the ancient instinct to move that no drought, gorge or crocodile-infested river can hold them back. Serengeti is truly home to the legendary great wildebeest migration. Late in the afternoon, drive back to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
You'll have an early breakfast then drive to the nearby Lake Manyara National Park for a game viewing drive. Your first encounter will be a sighting of large troupes of baboons. The park derives its name from a plant called Euphorbia tirucalli which is known as ‘Emanyara’ in the local Maasai language. Patches of yellow fever trees are dotted around the grassy lake shores and the Rift Valley wall is a prominent feature throughout. The entrance of the park is in a very special environment: a groundwater forest offering a beautiful change of scenery from the savannah-dominated parks. The lush green vegetation, tree-climbing lions, the soda lake inhabited with thousands of pink-hued flamingos, large water birds, troops of baboons and the Rift Valley escarpment make your safari to this area unforgettable. Packed lunch will be served at a picnic site. Late in the afternoon, drive back to Arusha in time for your homebound flight or a flight to Zanzibar.
