Arrival In Zambia | Travel To South Luangwa National Park

Onarrival in Zambia, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Mfuwe International Airport in the morning and be transferred to South Luangwa National Park.

The park has a high density of wildlife and it is famous for its large population of leopards. On arrival, you will check into your lodge and relax.

Walking Safari | Afternoon And Evening Game Drive In South Luangwa National Park

After breakfast, you will have a walking safari in South Luangwa National Park. The park is widely known as the home of the walking safari.

The park is uninhabited and remote, the topography and habitats are diverse, and the wildlife is wary and unaccustomed to humans.

After lunch, you will go for the afternoon and evening game drives. You will get knowledge of the numerous elements of the bush, from ants to buffalo, a bird's nest, to following a lion.

Later in the evening after the game drives, you will return to your lodge.

Morning Game Drive | Relaxing | Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, you will head out for the morning game drive. You will return to the lodge for lunch and then relax until 3:00 pm. Later on you will head out for an evening game drive to spot the animals that you could have missed during the morning game drive.

Full Day Game Drive In South Luangwa National Park

After breakfast, you will once again head out and spend a full day in the park. You will start with the morning game drive and later, the evening game drive.

Over 400 bird species and 60 animal species may be found in South Luangwa National Park, making it a true wildlife sanctuary. Thousands of visitors—of the two-legged variety—flock to this region of Zambia every year, so it's not just the animals that get to enjoy this African sanctuary.

Early Morning Game Drive | Flight To Lusaka

After breakfast, you will head out for an early morning game drive. Thereafter, you will be transferred to the airport to catch your flight to Lusaka. Depending on the time of arrival, we will either proceed to Lower Zambezi or spend a night in Lusaka.

Tour Of Lusaka | Visit Kabwata Cultural Village | Visit The Elephant Orphanage

After breakfast, you will head out for a tour of Lusaka, we will get to see historical buildings that have played a significant role in Zambia’s fight for independence, as well as the ones that have played a role in the liberation of Southern Africa. These include the Chilenje House, ANC House and freedom statues. While on the tour, we will also get to visit Kabwata cultural village as well as a local market.

In the evening, you will visit the Elephant Orphanage. It is home to elephants that have been orphaned in the wild through the death of their parents as a result of poaching, as well as injured elephants. They are taken care of up until they can survive in the wild then they are released.

Travel To Lower Zambezi National Park | Canoeing | Sunset Cruise

After breakfast, we will depart to Lower Zambezi National Park. The drive should take about 3 - 4 hours. This park offers sightings of animals either from a safari van or from a canoe on the Zambezi River. To end the day, we will have a sunset cruise.

During canoeing and sunset cruise, you may see hippos, elephants, crocodiles, lions and many more animals that live in the park. In the afternoon, you will have a game drive in South Luangwa National Park. The park has a high density of wildlife and is famous for its large population of leopards.

Canoeing On Kafue River | Relaxing

After breakfast, we will start the morning by canoeing through the Kafue River. This activity allows us to see wildlife while paddling through the river, and we will also get to enjoy the amazing views of the Lower Zambezi. Canoeing offers the opportunity to see wildlife up close while on the mighty Zambezi River.

After canoeing, you will head back to your lodge to relax.

Travel To Siavonga | Boat Cruises | Visit Lake Kariba Dam Walls

After breakfast, we will leave Lower Zambezi and head toward Siavonga, a town on the shores of Lake Kariba, the largest man-made lake in the world. While in Siavonga, we will get to enjoy the beautiful white sandy beaches, as well as take part in beautiful boat cruises on the lake and a visit to the Lake Kariba dam walls.
