Day 1

Nairobi - Masai Mara

Nairobi - Masai Mara

You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the Masai Mara National Reserve. Your journey will take you through the viewpoint of the Great Rift Valley and Narok town where you will stop for lunch. Upon arrival in Masai Mara, you will take off on your first exciting game drive, tracking various animal and bird species. Later in the evening, you will return for dinner and your overnight stay at camp.

Day 2

Masai Mara Full Day

Masai Mara Full Day

After breakfast, you will proceed on a full-day game drive within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah, grassland and rolling hills. The Mara Reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close-range viewing and photography. You will break for a picnic at the hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles while you enjoy your lunch. Later in the evening, you will return to the campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 3

Masai Mara - Visit Masai Village - Nakuru

Masai Mara - Visit Masai Village - Nakuru

After breakfast, the driver will pick you up and proceed on a visit to the Maasai village (at a cost of $10). Later, we depart from the Mara region and head to Nakuru with a hot lunch on the way. Enjoy the scenic views of Mt. Longmont and Lake Naivasha from afar on the main highway. You will arrive in the evening for drop-off at your hotel for dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru National Park is known as the home of the white and black rhino. The lake is also referred to as the "Pink Lake" because of the spectacular pink flamingoes that gather in masses around the lake’s shores.

Optional: Have a boat ride at an extra cost of $20 per person at Lake Naivasha on your way to Lake Nakuru.

Day 4

Have breakfast at the Nakuru hotel whereafter your guide will pick you up and drive to Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive. Visit the Rhinoceros Sanctuary to see the endangered black and white rhinos as well as the lake to search for the pink flamingos.

Lake Nakuru National Park is small in size but its beauty is worth a visit. Drive to the Baboon Cliff for a thrilling view of the baboons. Later, exit Lake Nakuru and drive to Naivasha with an en-route lunch. Spend the afternoon and evening at leisure with an option to drive to the lake for an optional boat ride (extra cost). Dinner and overnight will be served at the hotel.

Day 5

Lake Naivasha - Amboseli

Lake Naivasha - Amboseli

After breakfast, proceed on the 1-hour drive to Hell's Gate National Park. On arrival, you have the option of a game drive in a safari vehicle or taking bikes into the park. Cycling in the park is a great adventure as you get to ride the bikes for 7 kilometers before resting at a ranger's post. After a brief stop, you leave the bike and start a walking safari (optional) for 3 hours. Enjoy the spectacular views of the gorge.

The park provides a variety of wildlife, unusual flora, and many species of birds. It is the only Kenyan park where climbing, walking, and biking are allowed. Animals seen here include bushbuck, dik-dik, gazelle, gnu, hartebeest, impala, klipspringer, buffalo, hyrax, zebra, hyena, jackal, mongoose, baboon, monkey and porcupine amongst others. Later, drive to Amboseli National Park where you will arrive in the late evening at Nyati Camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will have an amazing day of game drives in this park. Travel around the swamp grounds where elephant and hippo bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game including antelope and large numbers of birds can also be seen. In the distance, you will see Mt. Kilimanjaro’s peak if weather conditions permit. A catered picnic lunch will be provided during your drive. Later, you will return to the campsite for dinner and your overnight stay.

Go on an early morning game drive in Amboseli National Park after breakfast to enjoy your final wildlife viewing. Take the last safari clicks in this beautiful park known as the home of the big jumbos. Later, depart from Amboseli and proceed to Nairobi, arriving in the afternoon. Should you travel to Arusha, we will drop you off at the Namanga Border to proceed to Tanzania. Otherwise, should you wish to proceed to Mombasa, we can assist with bookings for the bus or train.
