Enjoy a cup of African tea/coffee, after, leave the hotel or airport for 2 hours Kigali city tour. In the Kigali capital, visit the Kigali/Gisozi genocide center, craft markets, and museum, and after, settle for lunch before setting off 2-3 hours to Volcanoes National Park.

Gorilla trekking, Iby’Iwacu village walk

Have a tasty cup of an African coffee or tea, leave the lodge with some packed lunch and bottled water plus perhaps a walking stick, or get it at the park offices. Get oriented about gorilla trekking regulations, have a gorilla group to track the 13 families habituated in Volcanoes NP, and begin tracking to see the gorillas at 8:00 am. This will be a wildlife adventure of 2-6 hours which includes one hour with gorillas and after, a walk back to relax. Late in the evening, have a cultural visit to Iby’Iwacu village where you will have full evening entertainment.

Golden monkey trek, depart for Kigali

Have the best of your morning breakfast, after, assemble for golden monkey tracking regulation orientation. A golden monkey trek today will take from 2 to 4 hours and it covers one hour with rare golden monkeys. Walk back, check out of the lodge and return to Kigali.
