Touch down at Victoria Falls International Airport where you meet our Wanderlust Safaris representative who will be ready to transfer you to Ilala Lodge in Victoria Falls. The lodge is situated on a plateau less than a km from the majestic Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe.

The breathtaking Zambezi sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the spectacular beauty of the Zambezi River. There are great photo opportunities for the spectacular African sunset.

Enjoy the most relaxing activity above the waterfall along the Zambezi River. Flocks of birds skim the waterline as the sun sets behind the African skyline. Expect to see a multitude of small and large islands, hippopotamus, crocodile and bushbuck as well as elephant.

Wander and Explore Victoria Falls

A tour of Victoria Falls (Mosi-oa-Tunya) is a truly awe-inspiring experience – the sight, the sound, the smell and the humbling feeling that here indeed is nature’s supreme masterpiece. You will be accompanied through the rainforest by one of our qualified guides who will give a brief history of the falls as well as details about the flora, fauna, birds and other points of interest.

The helicopter ride over the falls is an amazing journey over the 1,700m vast curtain of water known locally as the "Mosi-oa-Tunya" (the smoke that thunders) and along the Zambezi River and the Zambezi National Park.

Wander and Explore Victoria Falls

Exploring the vast, genuine wilderness of the Zambezi National Park, using an open 4-wheel drive vehicle, a game drive allows you to discover many interpretations of the bush and all its inhabitants with assistance from our trained and qualified guides. This is an uncontrived bush experience, covering a wild, unfenced wilderness area. The morning safari sets off at 06h00.

After the game drive, you will return to the hotel to rest.

The next activity will be a 2-hour boma dinner and an African drum show. Taste authentic Zimbabwean dishes as well as experience the night's entertainment of traditional dancing and storytelling.
