You'll meet your experienced English driver-guide in Uganda for a warm welcome into the Pearl of Africa. Afterward, you'll transfer from Entebbe Airport (EBB) to your hotel in Kampala where you will check in, refresh, and retire after a long trip as you prepare for the next day.

Kampala to Kibale National Park for Chimp Trek

You'll have breakfast early morning. Afterward, you'll drive to Kibale Forest National Park via Mubende, Fort Portal city which is about a 5-6 hour drive with a stopover for lunch at Fort Portal. You'll check into a comfortable place for your overnight stay in Kibale National Park.

Chimpanzee Trekking, Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You'll have a heavy breakfast. Day 3 of the 10-day Uganda & Kenya safari begins with a briefing about chimp tracking regulations at Kanyanchu. Afterward, you'll exit Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for actual chimpanzee tracking at 8:00 am lasting for 2-4 hours. This is inclusive of 1 hour guaranteed for your magical encounter. You'll get back while still looking out for more primates-Kibale is a true primate capital of the world sheltering 13 unique primate species.
Transfer to Bwindi: You'll check out from your lodge in Kibale, and drive 6 hours up to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Southwestern Uganda. You will navigate via the Ishasha area of Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will be rewarded with the magical sight of relaxed tree-climbing lions.

Gorilla Trekking, Community Walk

After having a delicious breakfast, you'll have some snacks and bottled water still packed for you before setting off for orientation at the Buhoma area. On day 4 of your 10 days, you'll learn about regulations for gorilla trekking and be assigned a gorilla family to track in Buhoma or other regions (Ruhija, Nkuringo/Rushaga). You'll start trekking to view massive mountain gorillas at 8:00 am. Your trek may go for 2-6 hours and you will settle with these apes for one hour then return.
You'll have a relaxed afternoon full of fun, enjoy lunch, and walk with an experienced local guide to the Batwa community. You'll learn more about the Batwa pygmies’ cultures, lifestyles, and how they lived for 500,000 years in the forest as hunters and gatherers.

Fly to Nairobi, Kenya

Day five of the 10-day Uganda & Kenya safari will be for you to transfer to Kenya. You will fly from Kihihi or Kisoro Airstrip, and land at Entebbe where you will connect to Nairobi Kenya. From Nairobi, you will meet a Kenya guide for transfer to Lake Nakuru National Park your next destination.

You'll start your 6th day of the 10 days with early breakfast. Afterward, you will go enjoy a game drive in Lake Nakuru National Park. The long day wildlife viewing expedition rewards you with lots of incredible sights from lions, giraffes, rhinos, elands, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos, and grebes.

You'll have breakfast, then a short game drive to Lake Nakuru. Later, you'll transfer to Masai Mara National Reserve which sits on 1510sq km of land area in Narok county of Kenya. You'll relax and have lunch at leisure at Mara Reserve’s lodge as you enjoy the cool and fresh environment.

Game Watching in Masai Mara National Reserve
