Johannesburg - Hazyview - Afternoon Safari

We pick you up from the hotel or airport in Johannesburg then proceed on the private transfer to Hazyview. On arrival, we check in at the lodge, unpack and freshen up. In the afternoon at around 14h00, we pick you up from the lodge in a 4x4 open safari vehicle and proceed on a afternoon game drive inside Kruger National Park. We return to the lodge at around 1730 HRS to enjoy a delicious meal at the lodge and your overnight stay.

Full Day Kruger Safari

We start before sunrise on a full-day open vehicle safari. A packed breakfast will be provided by the lodge. This is the best part of the day, not knowing what to expect. After a short drive to the park, we enter the park gates. Your guide will have an idea of the best areas to find the wildlife, including the Big 5 and plains game. This time of the day is the best to see predators.

We will stop after about 3 hours for a breakfast break and a chance to get coffee, then continue with your safari. Kruger offers a variety of ecozones, and each one has a different range of wildlife. We visit rivers and watering holes as well as plains and bushveld regions.

We will stop for lunch at a rest camp, where this meal will be for your own account. You have time to do some curio shopping or enjoy a cold beer! The guide will then continue with the safari heading towards the lodge. We arrive at around 15h30–16h00 and have time to relax, swim and have a great dinner. We will overnight at the lodge.

Hazyview Departure

After breakfast, we check out from the hotel and proceed on a private transfer to Johannesburg O.R Tambo Airport or your hotel.

A morning safari is possible at an additional cost, subject to your flight schedule, since you reach your lodge after the safari at 11h00.
