Day 1

Arusha-Tarangire National Park

Arusha-Tarangire National Park

You will be picked up from your hotel. After a safari briefing in the morning, you head to the Tarangire National Park. Giant baobab trees, bush savannah and the seasonal marshes add to the wonder of this nature reserve. The park is considered as one of the best places to view elephants up close. The park is also home to buffaloes, zebras and wildebeests which are always closely followed by a range of predators such as lions. Leopards are seen now and then but cheetahs are rarely spotted. From the open roof of the safari jeep, you will be able to absorb the landscape and watch the animals. In the late afternoon you will leave the park and drive to the lodge, where you will overnight. This morning you will travel to the Ngorongoro Crater –a wonderful haven for wildlife. Here you are likely to experience a range of small animals, birds and local flora & fauna. Today you will journey into the heart of this amazing, wondrous crater. Spend the full day within the crater floor. Ngorongoro is unique in that almost all the wildlife lives within the crater walls hence you have the opportunity to find game easily. Rhino can be seen regularly as well as prides of lion and cheetah. Overnight incl breakfast, lunch & dinner.
