Day 2

Today is one of the best days of your great Kenya budget safari experience. After breakfast, proceed on a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on undulating rolling hills.
The reserve is the best game park in Kenya, as it has an extensive road-track network that allows for close-range viewing and photography. Break for a picnic lunch beside a hippo pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles.
Your game viewing will end at 5:00 pm, when you can return to the camp to relax or do an optional activity, such as taking a nature walk with the Maasai warriors. Dinner and overnight are at the Miti Mingi Eco Camp.
You can also enjoy a hot-air balloon safari, an optional activity that is available at pre-arrangement (at an extra cost).

After waking up, you will have a cultural experience at a Maasai village. You will listen to the beautiful stories of the Maasai people as you dance and interact with them. Later, you will exit the park to proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at City Max Hotel for dinner and overnight.

A budget Kenya safari is not complete without visiting Lake Nakuru National Park. After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the hotel and head to the park for an extensive game drive. This park is a bird lover’s paradise; over 400 species of birds have been recorded here.
The pink flamingos paint the lake shores a vivid pink color, contrasting the black and white stripes of the zebras grazing around the lake. Tree-climbing lions can be seen on the tree branches, staring at your safari vehicle. The endangered white and black rhinos, antelopes, giraffes, and gazelles are also found here.
Later, we will exit the park and head to Naivasha with an en-route lunch. When we arrive late afternoon, we will check into the Newstead Hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 5

After an early breakfast, we will proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park. This is the only park where you can ride a bicycle to see the animals. You can also rock climb and hike around the Hell’s Gate Gorges.
At the end of the game drive, you can cap off your safari experience with a boat ride at Lake Naivasha as you marvel at the hippos. Later, we will leave Lake Naivasha and return to Amboseli National Park, with lunch en route. Dinner and overnight will be at the Nyati Camp.

Your Kenya budget safari tour today consists of a full day of game drives in this park. You will be tracking the large numbers of wildlife easily found bathing in the swamps. Amboseli National Park offers a beautiful safari experience and breathtaking scenery as you watch the elephants and buffalos roam at the base of Mount Kilimanjaro.
Apart from the elephants, you will also encounter cheetahs, zebras, hyenas, and many others. You will have your picnic lunch in the shade and then continue with the afternoon game viewing. When the clouds clear off in the evening, you can see the snow-capped peaks of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later, you will head back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

You have an early start on the final day of your great Kenya budget safari. Go on an early morning game viewing and then return to the camp for a hot breakfast. Later, we will drive back to Nairobi, or you can decide to proceed to Mombasa for a beach holiday by road. We will drop you off at Emali to board a bus to Mombasa or at the airport for your connecting flight to Mombasa.
