Day 1

Ol-Pejeta Conservancy

Arrive at Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. After proceeding through immigration and customs, you will be met by our representative who will brief you on your safari and drive to Sweetwaters Tented Camp which is a sheltered oasis in the heart of a private conservancy, offering all the luxury and special touches you would expect from any Serena establishment. Lunch at the camp to be followed by an afternoon game drive at the Conservancy which hosts all the members of the ‘Big Five' (elephant, rhino, lion, buffalo and leopard) and boasting of having a higher wildlife-to-area ratio than any Kenyan national park and is one of only four private game conservancies to have been founded in Kenya. Dinner and overnight Accommodation: Serena Sweetwaters Tented Camp or Similar.

Day 2

Lake Nivasha

Lake Nivasha

After breakfast, depart to Lake Naivasha with a picnic lunch on the way, do an evening boat ride on Crescent Island and later dinner and overnight stay at Taphe Guest Resort. Watch the Fish eagle snatching away fish off the water, see the Pelicans and Cormorants flying freely on the Island paradise. The spectacle of hippos nearby will give you joy as they yawn harmlessly back at you! Lake Naivasha and the other lakes of the Great Rift Valley are the few Geological features of the earth visible from outer space. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Maasai Mara

Drive through the dramatic Great Rift Valley to the Masai Mara National Reserve. This enormous reserve is actually part of the vast Serengeti plains famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest’s migration and home to the Big Five. Lunch. Afternoon game drive. The Mara Game Reserve is one of the greatest wildernesses of the world. Large mammals are varied, and easy to see. Residents among the Park's are: Masai Giraffe, Buffalo, Eland and thousand of plain game including Impala, Zebra, Topi, both Thomson's and grants Gazelles. Dinner and overnight.: Mara Sopa Lodge or Similar.

Day 4

Maasai Mara

Maasai Mara

The search for great predators today during extensive game runs. On the plains are enormous herds of grazing animals plus the elusive Cheetah and leopard hiding amidst acacia boughs. During our stay we also have an optional opportunity to visit a village of the Masai at an extra cost - people to witness the singing and dancing that are part of their daily lives and sacred rituals. A glimpse into their homes and social structure is a poignant experience. All meals and overnight: Mara Sopa Lodge or Similar.
