Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi National Park and Rushaga village walk

Start your day early with a hearty breakfast before heading out for your thrilling gorilla trekking experience. The adventure begins with a detailed briefing by your guide, who will then lead you into the heart of the forest in search of the magnificent mountain gorillas. The trek can take 4 to 8 hours, traversing uneven and sometimes slippery terrain, but the reward of encountering these gentle giants is unparalleled.
Once you find the gorilla family, you’ll spend a magical hour observing their behavior, taking photos, and soaking in this once-in-a-lifetime experience. After the trek, return for a debrief and receive your official gorilla trekking certificate as a memorable keepsake.
Walking sticks are provided for added support, and porters are available upon request to assist with extra luggage or to lend a helping hand during the trek.
In the evening, enjoy a captivating Local village experience, meet and interact with the Batwa, and learn about their lives and culture.

After an early breakfast and check-out, you will begin your journey back to Kigali for your departure. Take time to explore the exhibits, reflecting on the strength and unity of the Rwandan people.

After touring the memorial, savor a delicious lunch at the Museum Café, which offers a serene setting and a selection of local and international dishes. Depending on your departure flight schedule, you may also have time to explore Kigali, celebrated as Africa’s cleanest and most beautiful city. Immerse yourself in its vibrant culture, visit bustling markets, or simply enjoy its modern charm before heading to the airport for your departure.
