Arrival in Nairobi and check-in

You will be met by our representative at your residence/hotel or at the airport for your air transfer, irrespective of the flight timing. This will be advised at the time of your booking. You will begin the safari to Samburu National park immediately to ensure you arrive on time. On arrival, you will be transferred to the lodge for check-in and lunch. You will have a wonderful afternoon game-viewing drive in the reserve and return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Game viewing in the park

After breakfast, you will enjoy an early morning game-viewing drive and then return to the camp for breakfast. Mid-morning is at leisure. After lunch, depart on an afternoon game-viewing drive. Later, return to the camp for dinner and overnight. You can also opt for morning and afternoon game viewing drives with a hot lunch at the lodge or a full-day game drive with a packed lunch. You can also visit the nearby school, clinic, Samburu village, or market to explore an authentic cultural experience. Enjoy dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day at the lodge with activities

After a scrumptious breakfast, you can spend the day at the camp. The reserve offers a fabulous range of exciting activities for everyone, from exploring the wilderness on foot, bird walks, sundowners, swimming, Bush Dinners. An upgrade to the deluxe tents allows you enjoy the outdoor showers, and mesmerizing sleepout decks with star beds. You can recline under the celestial canopy as you fall asleep to the soothing lullaby of the river and the whispers of the African night. It's perfect for those seeking a slower safari experience whilst others are out exploring. Lunch and dinner will be served at the camp and overnight at the camp.

Departure

After enjoying your final breakfast, you will check out and be transferred to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Arrive in time for your departure flight or return to your hotel or residence (local flight cost included). Alternatively, at an extra cost, we can organize a small excursion in Nairobi with a send-off lunch or dinner.
