Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha

After an early wake-up, you will descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor where you will able to see all of the Big Five, as well as many different species of birds. The crater is also home to the black rhino. You will have lunch inside the crater while watching nature and high concentrations of flamingos.

The crater is home to more than 6,000 wildebeest, 4,000 spotted hyenas, 2,000 zebras, 2,000 eland, 3,000 gazelles, black rhinos, and many other animals like antelopes, jackals, hippos, and various bird species. This highly-visited African attraction is the world's largest inactive, unbroken, and unfilled volcanic caldera. An explosion created this caldera approximately 2 and a half million years ago.

After enjoying your 6 to 7-hour game drive inside the crater, you will ascend from the crater and pass through the campsite to pack your luggage. Drive back to Arusha where we will drop you off at your hotel.
