Tarangire to Serengeti via Ngorongor
After breakfast, you will start to do an en-route game drive in the safari Jeep as you head to Serengeti with your lunch. On the way, you will be able to view the beautiful Rift Valley and have a view of the Ngorongoro Crater. You will reach Serengeti at around 15h00. You will have game drive in Central Serengeti where you will be able to see the sunset, before returning for dinner and your overnight stay in the Serengeti.
The major attractions in Serengeti are the endless plain and the great Serengeti wildebeest migration. This involves 1.5 herbivores and predators that move from one area to another in almost all parts of the Serengeti because of drought. Our driver-guide will make sure that you see a part of the wildebeest migration. Experience the movement of vast numbers of Serengeti’s wildebeest accompanied by large numbers of zebra, and smaller numbers of Grant’s gazelle, Thomson’s gazelle, eland, and impala.

Serengeti full-day game drive
You will wake up early in the morning and have a full breakfast. You will then start your full-day game drive inside the Serengeti as our driver will take you to the key areas in Serengeti. We will make sure that you follow the wildebeest migration during your tour with us.
The great migration varies every year. The best chance of seeing it is from June to September, while the wildebeest calving season starts from January to March. Our driver will take you to Northern Serengeti where you will be able to see the great wildebeest migration crossing the Mara River. A million and a half of these majestic animals travel throughout the year as they look for fresh grazing pasture and follow the rainfall for better water sources. After your full-day game drive, you head back to your accommodation for dinner and overnight in Serengeti Heritage Tented Lodge.
