Today, embark on a scenic drive from Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's second-largest and one of the most biodiverse parks in the country. Nestled at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range, and flanked by Lake Edward and Lake George, the park boasts abundant wildlife. Along the way, anticipate encounters with Uganda kob, warthogs, and waterbucks, as well as large populations of hippos and elephants. Keep a keen eye out for lions or even a leopard.

Upon arrival, settle into your lodge, ideally located on the edge of the park, where you can enjoy wildlife sightings at the nearby waterhole from the comfort of your private veranda.

On your gorilla trek, your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity such as dung, nests, and chewed bamboo shoots. The time it takes to find the gorillas can range from 2 to 8 hours, as you navigate the forested slopes, thick vines, dense bushes, and bamboo groves. Once the gorillas are located, you’ll have a one-hour encounter with them.
