Today, embark on a scenic drive from Entebbe to Queen Elizabeth National Park, Uganda's second-largest and one of the most biodiverse parks in the country. Nestled at the base of the majestic Rwenzori Mountain range, and flanked by Lake Edward and Lake George, the park boasts abundant wildlife. Along the way, anticipate encounters with Uganda kob, warthogs, and waterbucks, as well as large populations of hippos and elephants. Keep a keen eye out for lions or even a leopard.
Upon arrival, settle into your lodge, ideally located on the edge of the park, where you can enjoy wildlife sightings at the nearby waterhole from the comfort of your private veranda.
If time allows, head out for a short game drive into the park for your first glimpse of the captivating Savannah landscape. As the day ends, relax at your lodge and fall asleep to the distant roars of lions—a magical reminder that you're truly in Africa!

In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, a waterway that connects Lake George and Lake Edward. This safari offers unparalleled views of hippos, bathing elephants, crocodiles, and a host of other wildlife that gather at the channel to drink and cool off. The channel is also a haven for bird enthusiasts, with species like kingfishers, herons, and fish eagles providing a vibrant display.

Gorilla Tracking and Batwa Village experience
Prepare yourself for an unforgettable encounter with Bwindi's gentle giants—the mountain gorillas. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is the only place in Africa where you can find both mountain gorillas and chimpanzees, making it a truly unique destination. The forest is also home to a rich variety of wildlife, including five other primate species, 120 species of mammals, 348 species of birds, and over 200 butterfly species.
On your gorilla trek, your guide will point out signs of previous gorilla activity such as dung, nests, and chewed bamboo shoots. The time it takes to find the gorillas can range from 2 to 8 hours, as you navigate the forested slopes, thick vines, dense bushes, and bamboo groves. Once the gorillas are located, you’ll have a one-hour encounter with them. This is a rare and privileged opportunity to witness these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat—a truly magical experience, often referred to as a real-life version of "Gorillas in the Mist"

You can choose to explore the islands by boat, or for those seeking a bit of adventure, you can embark on a hike to the ‘Top of the World’, where you’ll be treated to panoramic views of the lake and surrounding landscapes. After a day of exploration and relaxation, return to your lodge for a delightful dinner and an overnight stay, reflecting on the beauty of this remarkable destination.

After an early breakfast at the lodge, we will begin our drive back to Kampala or Entebbe (depending on your departure location). This is also a great opportunity to do a bit of souvenir shopping, with various local crafts and mementos available. Continue your journey to your destination, concluding your Ugandan adventure with unforgettable memories.
