After breakfast, your Musana Tours and Travel guide will brief you on the exciting journey ahead before embarking on a scenic 5-hour drive to Lake Mburo National Park via Masaka.
Along the way, we’ll stop at the Equator in Kayabwe, where you can capture memorable photos and enjoy simple experiments demonstrating the hemisphere divide.
The drive offers stunning views of Uganda’s rolling landscapes, and you’ll arrive at Lake Mburo National Park around lunchtime. After checking in at the lodge and enjoying a relaxing lunch, the adventure continues in the afternoon with a 2-hour boat cruise on the lake.
This experience brings you up close to aquatic wildlife like hippos and crocodiles while offering the chance to observe bird species such as fish eagles and kingfishers. After two hours of game viewing and connecting with nature, you’ll exit the park and continue your journey toward Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park in southwestern Uganda.

The trek can last up to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements and where they nested the previous night. Once a gorilla group is located, you will have an awe-inspiring one hour to observe and photograph these endangered giants in their natural habitat—a truly life-changing experience.
After the trek, return to the lodge to relax and rejuvenate.
