After breakfast, we will drive to Nakiwogo, where we will take a boat to the swamp in search of the prehistoric shoebill stork. During the boat ride, you'll have the opportunity to spot numerous other bird species, making it an ideal adventure for bird enthusiasts. You can expect to see a variety of birds, including the African Fish Eagle, Purple Swamphen, African Green Pigeon, African Jacana, African Marsh Harrier, African Pygmy Goose, Black Crake, Black Heron, Black-crowned Night Heron, Black-crowned Waxbill, Black-headed Heron, Black-winged Stilt, Blue Swallow, Blue-cheeked Bee-eater, and many others. Shoebill tracking takes approximately 4 hours. Afterward, you will enjoy lunch before transferring to Jinja. You will arrive in the late afternoon to check in at your lodge, where dinner will be served at your convenience.

Day 3

After breakfast, you will start the hike to the falls. The Sipi Falls is comprised of 3 waterfalls each flowing from a different altitude. The highest fall drops from an altitude of 100m referred to as the main fall since it is the last fall in the series, this fall is a little bigger than the other two falls, but all give Uganda beautiful scenery. Most people say that Sipi Falls are the ‘most romantic falls’ in Uganda which is evidenced by the wonderful falls. This area is majorly where most hikes to Mt. Elgon are started. Hiking up to these falls gives a beautiful scenic view, of the Kyorga basin and Karamoja plains, coffee plantations, and other surrounding areas. Later in the Afternoon you will visit the coffee Plantations and transfer back to the lodge.

Day 4

Begin your day with a hearty breakfast as you prepare for the journey back to Entebbe. After checking out from your lodge, the scenic drive takes you through the lush countryside, offering opportunities to soak in Uganda's beautiful landscapes, dotted with rolling hills, plantations, and vibrant villages.

For an added natural experience, you may choose to visit the Sezibwa Falls, located a few kilometers from Kampala. This historical and spiritual site is steeped in local legend and features cascading waterfalls surrounded by serene nature trails and birdlife. A site guide will share stories of its cultural significance and the traditions linked to the site.

Continue your journey with a leisurely lunch at a local restaurant en route. As you approach Entebbe, the road offers glimpses of Lake Victoria, the world’s second-largest freshwater lake. Upon arrival in Entebbe, you will proceed to your preferred drop-off point, marking the end of your memorable trip.
