Day 1

Safari Starts from Arusha, Drive to Serengeti National Park

Safari Starts from Arusha, Drive to Serengeti National Park

After pickup from your accommodation in Arusha, we will drive to Serengeti which is around 6-7 hours away from Arusha.

On the way, enjoy scenic views of Tanzania, hop off the vehicle to view Ngorongoro Crater and experience Serengeti plains.

Serengeti National Park is a World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife: over 2 million ungulates, 4000 lions, 1000 leopards, 550 cheetahs and some 500 bird species inhabit an area close to 15,000 square kilometers in size.

Today, most visitors come here with one aim alone: to witness millions of wildebeest, zebras, gazelles and elands on a mass trek to quench their thirst for water and eat fresh grass. During this great cyclical movement, these ungulates move around the ecosystem in a seasonal pattern, defined by rainfall and grass nutrients.

Lunch will be offered on the vehicle during the safari. Late in the afternoon, you will arrive at your designated lodge to rest, dine and cherish on the greatest moments you gathered during the safari.

Full-Day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

This will be the full game drive day. After an early breakfast in your lodge in Serengeti, you resume from where you left the previous day.

During the day, our experienced safari guide will accompany you to do a game drive to watch and strive to find the Big Five animals in their natural habitat.

The magic of Serengeti National Park is not easy to describe in words. Not only seeing, but also hearing the buzz of millions of wildebeest so thick in the air that it vibrates through your entire body is something you will try to describe to friends and family, before realizing it’s impossible. Vistas of honey-lit plains at sunset so beautiful, it’s worth the trip just to witness this.

You will carry your packed lunch which you will enjoy while making a pit stop in your safari vehicle. After lunch, you'll continue with the game drive.

By late afternoon, you will head back to your lodge to rest, dine and cherish the wonderful moments.

Early Morning Game Drive at Ngorongoro Crater and Drive Back to Arusha in the Evening

Although this will be the last day of your safari, there's still a lot of game drive to experience. Today you will start the day immediately after your breakfast at your lodge in Serengeti. Afterward, check out from the lodge and head straight into the Ngorongoro Crater whilst enjoying game drives en-route.

Ngorongoro Crater; is the world’s largest intact and unfilled volcanic caldera, and is indeed the flagship tourism attraction of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. It’s home to the vast, volcanic Ngorongoro Crater and “Big Five” game (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, rhino). Huge herds of wildebeests and zebras traverse its plains during their annual migration. At around mid day, you'll stop and enjoy your lunch.

By late afternoon, you'll bid good-bye to crater and start your journey back to Arusha. Get dropped at your accommodation in Arusha or head straight to the airport by evening.
