Day 1

Nairobi to Naivasha

Depart from Nairobi to Naivasha via the Nairobi-Nakuru highway. Take a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, which offers a breathtaking view of the valleys and Mt. Kilimambogo, one of Kenya's volcanic mountains. Then, continue to Naivasha for an optional boat ride at Lake Naivasha for a close-up view of hippos and large water birds like the great pelicans, or opt for a visit to the gorge within Hell's Gate National Park (additional cost). Hell's Gate is the only national park in Kenya where visitors are allowed to walk or cycle inside. Wildlife to be spotted includes buffaloes, giraffes, antelopes, gazelles, and more. Conclude your day with lunch, dinner, and an overnight stay at Lake Naivasha Country Club.

After an early morning, breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park. It is one of Kenya's National Parks where black and white rhinos are conserved. Larger flocks of greater and lesser flamingoes together with other water birds make the Park a spectacular place for birders. The park also falls under the category of International Bird Areas, the existence of both Masai and Rothschild Giraffes, antelopes, etc. Other attractions include a visit to Makalia falls. Lunch Dinner and Overnight stay at the Lake Nakuru Lodge.
