You will be picked up from Kilimanjaro International Airport and transferred to your hotel in Arusha. Upon arrival, you will meet your guide, who will provide a detailed briefing about your upcoming safari, including all essential information.

Day 2

Lake Manyara National park

Meet our professional tour guide/driver in Arusha for a short safari briefing before embarking on our journey to Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, we enjoy lunch at the park before heading out for an exciting game drive.

Lake Manyara National Park is one of Tanzania's most diverse wildlife areas, featuring a vast yet shallow soda lake at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The park's rich habitats attract a variety of wildlife, including one of Africa’s largest elephant populations, Manyara’s renowned tree-climbing lions, and vibrant flocks of flamingos drawn by the lake’s algae.

Dinner and overnight accommodations will be arranged based on your selected option.

Day 3

Ngorongoro Crater

Non-game-viewing travel time: 1.5 hours | Distance: 60 km

After breakfast, we descend 600 meters into the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day morning game drive. This remarkable ecosystem is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in Africa, home to approximately 30,000 animals, including some of Tanzania's last remaining black rhinos. With a constant water supply and abundant grazing, the crater sustains a diverse range of wildlife, such as wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, eland, warthog, hippo, and towering African elephants.

The crater is also renowned for its thriving predator population, including lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, which often requires a trained eye to spot. We will enjoy a scenic picnic lunch within the crater before continuing our journey.

After breakfast, we embark on a morning game drive in Tarangire National Park. The park follows the course of the Tarangire River and features rolling hills on the Great Rift Valley floor. Its landscape is characterized by Acacia woodlands, towering African Baobab trees, and vast swamps in the southern region. During Tanzania's dry season, the river and swamps attract a diverse array of wildlife, making it a prime location for animal sightings. Tarangire is renowned for hosting some of Africa’s largest elephant herds.

We will enjoy a picnic lunch before departing for Arusha or the airport.
