Depending on where you will be, your guide will pick you up from Kigali airport or your hotel and drive you to Uganda through the Kigali city and beautiful scenic hills of Rwanda before you reach the border post to clear and enter Uganda. The drive is about 3-4 hours where you will have lunch on the way. After lunch you will drive to Bwindi and head to your accommodation which is close to the park. Relaxation, dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Batwa forest experince in bwindi
After breakfast we will drive from the lodge to the Boundary of the Bwindi Forest where you will have a chance to interact with Africa’s most ancient ethnic Group. A community of Batwa that were forced out of the forest due to conservation pressure and are now leaving imperverished lifestyles outside the forest.
We will hike in the forest with the people of the forest. Batwa guides will provide you with the chance to see the forest and its habitats through their eyes. See how they lived and hunted in the traditional manner. Enjoy trying out your hunting techniques as the Batwa teach you how to shoot with a bow and Arrow. make fire, locate honey and dig deeper into the real life before modernity, how they conducted narriege rituals and household set up. This walk takes about 8 hours inside the forest, you will get closer to knowing the batwa than any one else, after the experience we will be treated to a batwa cultural dance on camp fire at our lodge.

Batwa Village walk and house hold experince then transfer to Kigali
Visit a traditional Batwa homestead see how they live now, how their life has changed three decades later and learn from the women how to prepare, cook and serve a meal. The Batwa will guide you through their lifestyles today showing you their homes and farming as well as displaying their wealth of knowledge such as the many uses of plants and their talents in basket weaving, dancing and firemaking and other things that are unique to these fascinating people. After the village walk, head back to the lodge, have lunch, fleshen up and transfer back to Kigali in rwanda.
