Day 1

Transfer to Murchison fall national park

On the first day of your 10 Days primates and wildlife safari in Uganda, our guide will pick you up from the hotel, the guide will brief you about the 10 days Uganda safaris. Later embark on a drive to Murchison falls national park, through the lush countryside, past luweero, Along the way, you will branch off for a stopover at Ziwa rhino sanctuary to meet the rhinos, one of the Big 5 during this amazing safari. After that activity, you will embark on your journey to Murchison falls, and have a stopover in Masindi for your lunch. Arrive at the park and head to the top of the falls, there is nothing as breathtaking as watching the water gush through the 8m gorge, and lowering down 45 meters hence causing the ground to shake. Later depart the top of the falls and head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Morning game drive and boat cruise

Morning game drive and boat cruise

Get up in the morning, have the best of breakfasts, and be led away by the guide to the park's finest spots for the game drive preferably in the northern sector of the park. There you will be positioned to view wildlife such as the giraffes, elephants, lions, antelopes, buffaloes, hartebeests, warthogs, and many more. Depart the game drive and head back for lunch and relaxation. In the afternoon drive to the Nile with the excitement of taking a boat cruise. Later board the boat and head for a launch cruise on the Nile, the cruise guarantees you an amazing view of the Nile and its surroundings, a view of the Nile crocodiles, hippos, and several animals and bird species on the shores. Later drive back to the lodge, have dinner, and overnight stay.

Day 3

Transfer to Kibale forest National park

Transfer to Kibale forest National park

Early in the morning, you will be treated with breakfast at your lodge, later pack your bags and board the vehicle for transfer to Kibale forest national park, famous for hosting the biggest number of primates in Uganda and east Africa at large. Depart Murchison falls for a long drive that can take you about 6 hours you will have at fort portal town as you appreciate the rewards of nature to the fortpartal evidenced in impressive views of the Rwenzori ranges, crater lakes and many more. You would opt to bigodi swamp walk at bigodi swamps to get acquainted with the several bird species in the area as you take the swamp walk. Later you will head to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi Tour

Enjoy a quick breakfast in the morning, then head to the park headquarters for a briefing session regarding chimpanzee tracking. Thereafter, you will be guided to the forest and experience tracking the chimps and other primates in their natural habitat The Park’s site guide will take you through this adventurous experience where you may be blessed with huge meetings of various forest primates like baboons, L’hoest, black-faced colobus monkeys and other forest species. The experience takes an hour sight beautiful forest bird species like the great blue turaco, African broadbill, Ross’ and, butterflies After your lunch at the park. After lunch, you will go for the Bigodi wetland evening tour near Kibale forest known for the colobus monkeys, blue monkeys, and a wealth of birdlife like the African Broad-bill and the great blue turaco.

Fort Portal and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park

Fort Portal is a beautiful city with a number of tourist attractions. Begin your day with a city tour of Fort Portal by driving through the town; visit the King's palace, the Tooro Botanical Gardens, and so much more. Visit the different crater lakes, and tea plantations and hike to the top for a magical experience with incredible views of the distant horizons and Kibale Forest, visit the Amabere Caves for an amazing cultural, geographical and historical experience and enjoy the beautiful waterfalls at the caves and hike Nyakasura hills for amazing views and more nature experiences.
After, have lunch and later transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Day 6

Discover Queen Elizabeth National Park in the cool morning with an early game drive to possibly see the Big 5 members that are Elephants, Buffalos, big cats- Lions, Leopards more times in the evening, warthogs- Hunchback carnivals like Hyenas, and many more species that are residents to this park are spotted along with the Circuits as we drive along. Enjoy birdlife species in the trees as we drive back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch. After lunch, enjoy a classic 2-hour boat cruise on the famous Kazinga channel, a 36kms channel linking Lake George to Lake Edward. On the banks, you can see land and water Adapted Hippos, the Nile crocodile along the Banks, and Warthog.

After an early breakfast, in the early morning, we will drive off in the adventurous titanic savannah of the Ishasa sector of Queen Elizabeth NP, known for its tree-climbing lions. Here we have a chance to see Topis, buffaloes, elephants, and tree climbing lions high in the big tree branches. This is one of two areas in Africa where lions climb trees to take a rest.
After the morning game drive, we drive back to the lodge for lunch and a bit of rest before being transferred to Bwindi National park through a beautiful driving through cultivated hills to the jungle of mountain gorillas of Bwindi. On arrival,
check-in at your lodge for an overnight stay.

Day 8

Gorilla Treking

On this day you will have a great time meeting with the Mountain gorillas in Bwindi Forest, Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park is the home to the forest's gentle giants. Trek through the beautiful nature and spend one hour with the gorillas, an unforgettable experience. This Impenetrable Forest is also full of birds, butterflies, and plant species plus forest hogs, forest elephants, sitatungas, and dikers. Trekking takes about 1hour to 8 hours based on the location of these gentle giants. After the trek, your guide picks you up and you transfer back to your hotel for lunch. Later, go learn and interact with the Batwa pygmies who are said to have spent 500,000 years, and explore different cultures, traditions, and lifestyles.

After early morning breakfast, exit Bwindi for Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale, Africa’s 2nd deepest lake. Drive for 2 hours while enjoying the view of the rolling hills of Kabale, have some relaxation while viewing the lake, and later lunch. In the afternoon, visit Kyahugye Island of the 29 islands of Lake Bunyonyi while on a boat ride/trip. On the island, expect to sight incredible animal species, and also, you can connect to the Punishment Island.
