Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, we’ll transfer to Serengeti National Park through the Ngorongoro area. Who hasn’t heard of the Serengeti? It’s the most desirable safari location in Africa. It is known as the “land of endless plains” since it covers an area of 14,760 sq. km, divided roughly into short grass and woodland areas. The Serengeti is also home to the nomadic Maasai and is famous for its wildlife density and the annual wildebeest migration. Don’t miss the opportunity to experience this. You’ll eat lunch in the park before going on an afternoon game drive. In the evening you’ll transfer to the lodge for you overnight stay.

Day 2

Serengeti

Serengeti

Today we’ll go on an early morning game drive in the central Serengeti before transferring in the afternoon to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Ngorongoro has been one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites since 1979. The crater covers 8,200 sq km and is part and parcel of the broader Serengeti ecosystem. It is often called the eighth wonder of the world since it has it all: stunning landscapes, wildlife density, and a community (the Maasai) that co-exists in perfect harmony with the wildlife.

The Ngorongoro Crater's caldera is intact and home to the very rare black rhino. It also has the largest concentration of wildlife per square km in the world. Words alone cannot express the beauty of this place; you have to see it for yourself.
