On arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Entebbe International Airport and transferred to Kibale National Park.

You will drive through Mityana and then to Kyejonjo district. Arrive at the colorful and beautiful town of Fort Portal, the capital of the Tooro Kingdom, situated in the shadow of the fabled "Mountains of the Moon," the Rwenzori Mountains. You will either have lunch on your way or at your lodge. Arrive at Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and overnight.

In the evening, you’ll go on a guided walk in the community-managed Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary bordering Kibale National
Park. Here, you stand a good chance of spotting up to five monkey species. The forest birding is excellent, with a long list of colorful regulars that includes great blue turaco, papyrus gonolek, yellow-spotted barbet and blue-throated roller.

Day 2

Chimpanzee Trekking | Travel To Queen Elizabeth National Park | Boat Ride | Evening Game Drive

The tracking will start after an early breakfast and takes about 2 to 3 hours, depending on the location of the chimps.

After the trek, you will go to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is a huge park where wildlife and people co-exist in harmony. After checking-in at the hotel for lunch, you will head out for a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel. The channel connects Lake Edward and Lake George. This boat cruise is one of the most memorable experiences in the park and will provide some of the best wildlife viewings. Over 300 hippos are found in the lake.

After the boat ride, you will go for an evening game drive in Queen Elizabeth National Park, hoping to catch lions hunting in the evening. Lions usually hunt when the temperatures are cooler. We can also expect to see Uganda kobs, elephants, buffalos, warthogs, leopards and waterbucks. Later, we head to the Bush Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

After an early breakfast, you will be transferred to the Ishasha sector with a packed lunch to look for the famous tree-climbing lions in this area. On arrival in Ishasha, you will first try to spot the lions in one of the huge trees.

The Ishasha sector is notably recognized for its resident tree-climbing lions which are an exceptional attraction and among one of the highlights of all safaris taken within Queen Elizabeth National Park. The lions can be spotted hanging on branches of huge fig trees, whereas the Uganda kobs and other antelopes graze in the plains. After the game drive in Ishasha, you will move to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home of the famous mountain gorillas.

After arrival, we will go on a community walk where you will visit the Batwa. They are an indigenous group of people that have lived in the forest for 500,000 years. Enjoy the traditional dances and drama performances from them.

After breakfast, head out to the park head offices with your guide for a briefing about the do's and don’ts while in the park with the gorillas.

Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to the famous mountain gorillas. Bwindi is also home to over 346 bird species, 120 mammal species, 400 plant species, and 27 frog species among others. It covers an area of 331 sq km.

We head out for the gorilla trekking through the misty rainforest. The trekking can take between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the location of the gentle giants.

At the end of this long and exciting adventure, return to our lodge for a well-deserved shower. Thereafter check out in the evening for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Its twisting waterbody, dotted with 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the waters, will amaze you.

You can choose to participate in the optional activities such as canoeing, kayaking, ninja-warrior or zip-lining each at USD40.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to Lake Mburo National Park.

You will have lunch at your lodge. After lunch, go for a boat cruise, one of the most memorable experiences in the park. Over 300 hippos are found in the lake. Take pleasure in observing different water birds with their sweet, echoing sounds. See animals such as hippo, African crocodile, waterbuck, and buffalo among others.

After the boat cruise, you will go on the breathtaking evening game drive.

Lake Mburo National Park is rich in diversity that ranges from savannah vegetation, woodlands, forests, and seasonal and permanent swamps, providing a habitat to many wildlife and bird species. After experiencing this true wilderness, drive back to the lodge for a night's rest and dinner at Hyena Hill Lodge.

Have an early breakfast, then head out for today's activities. You can choose between a walking safari, horse riding, or a bicycle safari. The morning walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park is a magical way to experience the bush trails of the park. After the activity, you will have lunch, then be driven to Kampala.

After an early morning breakfast, you will be driven to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled flight to Tanzania.

On arrival in Tanzania, you will be welcomed and picked up by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Kilimanjaro Airport and then driven to Serengeti National Park where you will have an evening game drive.

The Serengeti National Park, meaning “endless plains” in the Maasai language, is undoubtedly one of the world’s most celebrated Wilderness areas and is an ongoing source of inspiration to writers, filmmakers and photographers. It is Tanzania’s oldest game reserve, renowned for the part it plays in the annual Great Migration, when an estimated three million antelope – mostly wildebeest – migrate to Kenya’s Maasai Mara Game Reserve.

It is the largest unbroken caldera in the world and boasts incredible concentrations of wildlife, which includes elephants, lions, cheetahs, wildebeests, buffaloes, and the rare black rhinos. Later in the afternoon, drive to Arusha and have dinner and your overnight stay at Outpost Lodge.
