Chobe National Park

Chobe National Park

You will get picked up from the resort town of Victoria Falls at 9: 00 am and head north towards Kasane, a village on the edge of Chobe National Park. Time is spent in the Northern Chobe, a park which is incredibly rich in game due to the Chobe River providing water all year round. Large herds of elephants are frequently seen walking to and from the river. Due to the high density of herbivores in this area, many predators such as lions and leopards can be found

Chobe National Park is known for its large herds of elephants and Cape buffalo, which converge along the Chobe Riverfront in the dry months. Lions, antelopes and hippos inhabit the woods and lagoons around Linyanti Marsh. The floodable grasslands of the Savuti Marsh attract numerous bird species, plus migrating zebras
