Each year between July and September, one of nature's grandest spectacles; the wildebeest migration takes place in Masai Mara. Over one-and-a-half million wildebeest accompanied by half again as many zebras and gazelles, begin their migration from the short-grass plains of the Serengeti to the fresh green pastures of the Masai Mara and its conservancies. This epic trek also presents a golden opportunity for many of Africa’s major predators among them, lions and leopards as well as the crocodiles in the Mara-River.
