Welcome to Kenya!

This morning you will be picked up from Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or Nairobi city hotel by an expert safari guide from Kaylan Tours and Travel. After a short safari briefing on the events ahead, depart for Amboseli National Park. Arrive at your safari lodge or tented camp, which enjoys glorious views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Following lunch, relax at leisure this afternoon before venturing to the park for a game viewing drive until sunset.

Return later to your safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 2

Amboseli National Park

Amboseli National Park

Morning and afternoon game viewing in the park with possible clear views of the highest mountain in Africa, Mt Kilimanjaro. This is a perfect backdrop to herds of elephant, Cape buffalo, giraffe the many species of plains game that are found here. Lions are the easiest to spot of the big cats. Spotted hyenas are plentiful, as are jackals, warthogs, olive baboons and vervet monkeys. Climb The Observation Hill which allows an overall view of the whole park especially the swamps which are a centre of activity for elephants, hippos, buffaloes and abundant water birds.

All meals and overnight at your safari lodge in Amboseli.

Day 3

Lake Naivasha Boat Safari & walking safari at Crescent Island Game Sanctuary

Exit Amboseli and depart for Lake Naivasha arriving for lunch

Tour 1 - Boat Safari

This afternoon you will be taken for a Boat Safari at Lake Naivasha, the highest lake in the Rift Valley. Fringed by papyrus and with the extinct Mount Longonot as a backdrop, this is a wonderful place to watch and photograph birds. Everything from pelicans to cranes to smaller, more brightly coloured birds are on display. The waters themselves are home to wallowing hippopotamuses, and along the shores, you'll spot Cape Buffalo and other herbivores.

Tour 2 - Crescent Island Game Sanctuary - Walking Safari

You will also visit Crescent Island Game Sanctuary. Easily combined with the Boat Safari, a visit to the Crescent Island offers a rare chance to literally walk with the animals. The island sanctuary isn't home to any predators, so you can safely trade the safari car for your own two feet as you wander alongside zebras, giraffes, and wildebeest!

Day 4

Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Lake Nakuru National Park. Arrive at your hotel for check in. Relax at leisure enjoying the hotel facilities. Following lunch, enter the park and embark on game viewing drive. Established as Kenya's first rhino sanctuary, Lake Nakuru National Park now hosts one of the largest black rhino concentrations in the country while substantial numbers of white rhino have also been introduced. Other indigenous mammals seen in the park include spotted hyena, lion (restocked), leopard, the hippopotamus (in the north-eastern corner), rock hyrax, bat-eared fox, wildcat, golden cat, Bohor reedbuck, Defassa waterbuck (in high grasses bordering the shore) and Colobus monkey, Rothschild’s giraffe, black and white rhinoceros.

Return back to your hotel as the sun sets for dinner and overnight.

This morning depart for Masai Mara, Kenya’s most famous wildlife reserve offering wonderful scenery and plenty of game. Arrive and embark on a game viewing drive en route to your safari lodge for lunch. Relax at leisure this afternoon before venturing to the reserve for another game viewing drive.

Return to your safari safari lodge for dinner and overnight.

On safari in Masai Mara National Reserve

Taking packed picnic lunch box from the lodge with you, explore Masai Mara on a full day game viewing drive. Masai Mara is regarded as one of the premier wildlife sanctuaries in Africa due to its abundant wildlife. A visit to the Mara almost guarantees visitors to see lions, elephants, cheetah, leopard, cape buffalo, and rhinoceros, as well as giraffes, hippos, hyenas, Nile crocodiles, wildebeest, zebra, gazelles, antelopes, and more. The yearly wildebeest migration (July to September) coming through the park is one of the world’s most amazing wildlife spectacles.

Return in the late afternoon to enjoy the hotel facilities including an outdoor swimming pool. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
