Zanzibar-Nyerere + Sunset Game Drive

Your pick-up will be arranged from the hotel with a drive to the airport in Zanzibar. You'll fly to Nyerere National park in the afternoon and on arrival to the park you'll start the evening game drive.

Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve) is one of the largest game reserve areas in Africa and is a beautiful and majestic place. The game reserve has a large number of animals and birds including lions, elephants, giraffes, and the African buffalo. Dinner and overnight will be at your accommodation at Impala Camp!

Sunrise Game Drive then Drive to the Airstrip for Flying

Before breakfast, start a sunrise game drive from 6:20 am to 8:00 am. Later after breakfast, from your accommodation, start the game drive again and enjoy a full-day game drive by a modified safari vehicle with a professional guide.

Great animal sightings include all the favourites like lion, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and zebra. You will also see all the other major species, including the now rare African wild dog, and a large variety of birds. Appreciate the wonderful scenery with varied topography including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains. In the afternoon, you'll have lunch, and proceed with the game drive for the rest of the day.

Start the drive to Mtemere Airstrip to catch a flight back to Zanzibar at 4:00 pm. Our driver will take you to your hotel.
