Livingstone

On arrival in Livingstone, you'll transfer to Kayube Estate on the banks of the Zambezi River. In the afternoon, you will take a short boat cruise on the river at sunset. Your overnight stay will be in a beautiful chalet. Dinner is served underneath the starlit African sky. (-/-/D).

Lake Kariba

After a last shopping stop in Livingstone Town, you'll drive through mountainous landscape and rural villages to the Zambezi River below the Kariba Dam wall and enjoy the beautiful scenery at the Kariba Gorge. Your overnight at Lotri Bay Lodge in chalets. (FB).

Lake Kariba

Today, you can do a walk on the mountain ridge and enjoy the beautiful view of this huge lake. The scenery over this large man-made lake is breathtaking. In the afternoon, you can go canoeing on the lake shore and enjoy the sunset.

Lower Zambezi National Park

A visit to the Lower Zambezi Park is one of the highlights in Zambia.
The Zambezi River on the one side and the Escarpment on the other form the backdrop of our wildlife viewing. You will do game drives in the national park and along the river to watch the animals come to drink.
You'll stay overnight in chalets at Kasaka Lodge. (3x FB).

After packing up, you will drive up the escarpment to Lusaka, where you can do some shopping for the next days in the bush. Your overnight stay will be in chalets at a comfortable lodge close to Lusaka (Hanlo Estate, Pioneer Camp, or Wilddog Lodge). Dinner in a restaurant. (B/L/-).

South Luangwa National Park

South Luangwa National Park is known for its abundance of African wildlife: Thorneycroft’s giraffe, Cookson’s Gnu, Crawshay’s Zebra, leopards, lions, and big herds of buffalos and elephants.
Game drives along the Luangwa River often produce spectacular sightings. Hippo families occur in high numbers in the river, unequalled in Africa.
During the dry season (July to October), many side channels of the river dry up, leaving the fish trapped. This attracts many different species of predators, such as the African fish eagles, jackals, and hyenas, to mention but a few. The colourful Carmine bee-eaters are often seen perching in front of their nests on the riverbanks.
Your overnight stay will be at Wildlife Camp or Marula Lodge (4x FB).
