Fly from Arusha to Serengeti National Park

At 08h00, you will take a flight from Arusha Airport to Serengeti. Upon arrival at Serengeti at 11h00, your safari driver-guide will meet you at the Seronera Airstrip to assist you to board your safari vehicle and proceed to Serengeti National Park for a game drive.

We head to the central area of the park, known as Seronera, one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park, featuring the Seronera River. In the Maasai language, "serenget" means "endless plain". The park stretches for over 15,000 square kilometers. Serengeti National Park is quite simply the most magnificent wildlife sanctuary in the world - unparalleled in natural beauty and wilderness. From vast, open plains casting idyllic, golden sunsets, to steamy riverbanks and towers of granite boulders, the Serengeti throbs with the life of the endless rhythm of the animals.

At sunset, we will proceed to our Baobab Serengeti Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full day in Serengeti National Park

Waking up in the Serengeti is something really special. The sights, sounds, and smells of Africa are all around, and a full day of adventure in the world’s most famous national park awaits us.

We will have a full-day game drive in various zones of the park. The Serengeti ecosystem is home to the "Big Five" (lion, African elephant, Cape buffalo, leopard, and rhinoceros). The other main species include giraffe, zebra, antelope, Thompson’s and Grant’s gazelle, hippo, crocodile, and many more species of animals.

There are animals everywhere, vervet monkeys, olive baboons, and a great variety of birds, with a total of 505 species being documented so far. If you look closely, you'll be thrilled with the huge jungle cats - lion, leopard, and cheetah. See animals in the trees, in the air, camouflaged in the bush, and in rivers and streams. The adventure of a lifetime!

We will break for a picnic lunch in the bush before returning to our tented camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater

At sunrise, we start our game drive marveling at the stunning scenery, ever-changing light, and always entertaining wildlife. We will search for the big cats as they actively hunt during the early morning.

We proceed with an en-route game drive from Serengeti toward Ngorongoro. We drive down to the crater floor for a wildlife experience. We descend 2,000 feet to the crater floor to explore this natural zoological park, and to observe an extraordinary variety of wildlife including elephant, lion, leopard, hyena, zebra, wildebeest, Thomson's gazelle, reedbuck, and buffalo.

With its abundant water, excellent grazing, and natural protection from the densely vegetated crater walls, the crater provides shelter to over 25,000 animals, including the endangered black rhinoceros.

Lunch will be taken at a picnic site inside the crater. In the afternoon, we ascend the crater and drive to our accommodation for dinner and overnight.
