Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. In Murchison Falls we visit the top of the falls if time allows. On our way we visit the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. This is the only place in Uganda where you can see the white Rhino

Murchison Falls is one of the most beautiful national parks of Uganda. One of the main attractions is the Nile, with the spectacular Murchison Falls, where the whole Nile is forced through a narrow gorge and falls 60 meters. Expect to see elephants, giraffes, lions, hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes and maybe leopards. Stay at Fort Murchison tented rooms or bandas (budget) or pakuba lodge.

Early morning game drive in this beautiful national park. Afternoon boat ride on the Victoria Nile up to the bottom of the falls. The boat is the perfect platform to see and photograph many different bird species like yellow fronted tinkerbird, and standard-winged nightjar.

Day 4

Murchison Falls National Park- Hoima through the park while viewing animals like impala, eland etc

Early morning game drive or a boat trip on the Nile to the delta into Lake Albert with many chances to see an African bird known as a Shoe bill or visit Budongo Forest for a jungle walk. In the afternoon we drive to Hoima town.
We have chances to see a variety of birds like the African pied wagtail, Fork-tailed drongo, olive-breasted greenbul, Black-headed Lapwing, Black-eared ground thrush, and Brown twinspot, Plain greenbul, Ituri batis, crowned eagle, yellow-footed flycatcher, Grey-headed Sunbird, Little green bird, and many others.

Day 5

Hoima – Kibale Forest

After breakfast, we drive to Kibale Forest. You can take a walk around the lodge in the afternoon. During this walk, it is possible to see monkeys and birds. It is also possible to make a night walk through the forest to see the animals of the night, like bush babies (both activities optional).
Kibale Forest is a spectacular jungle, with 13 primate species! Including chimps, baboons, black and white colobus, red colobus, grey cheeked mangabey and Lhotse monkey. Stay at Boulevard Excelsior Guest house/Rwenzori view and chimpanzee guest house.

Chimpanzee tracking in the morning or in the afternoon. For people interested in primates and birds and willing to make another walk we can make a community walk in the Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary as well. It is also possible to visit the local people or the crater lakes.

Game drive in the morning. On this day we shall wake up very early in the morning and have our breakfast and then continue for our game drive in the park to see animals like lions, kobs, warthogs, elephants, buffaloes, and many others. And thereafter a boat cruise on the beautiful Kazinga Channel in the afternoon.
The Kazinga Channel is one of the highlights of Uganda and has the highest concentration of hippos in the world.

In Ishasha there are 4 prides of lions that climb the trees daily. Unique in the world! The other attractions of Ishasha are the Topi, not found anywhere else in this National Park.

Today we drive to Bwindi Impenetrable. On our way, we pass through interesting villages and have some breathtaking views of the mountains.
Bwindi Impenetrable is a unique jungle, with many monkey species. Bwindi is one of the two places in the world where you can find Mountain Gorillas!
Driving time depends on which area in Bwindi we’ll decide to stay at Rushaga gorilla camp (midrange)/Broadbill camp (budget)/Ruhija gorilla resort.

Possible activities for today: make a nature walk, go for a birding walk, go canoeing, take a swim or visit the local community (all activities optional).
Lake Bunyonyi is in south-western Uganda between Kisoro and Kabale, and it is close to the border with Rwanda. The lake appeared from 2004 to 2009 on the 5,000 Ugandan shilling note under the title "Lake Bunyonyi and terraces.
Scientific literature generally quotes a maximum depth of 40 m (130 ft), but some tourist guides and locals insist that it is much deeper, about 900 m (3,000 ft), which would make it the second-deepest lake in Africa.
