Okavango Delta

Okavango Delta

From Maun you will be transferred by a 4 x 4 open sided vehicle roughly for 1 hour 30 minutes to a place called Morutsha (NG32) upon arriving there the poolers will introduce themselves then poole you for 1 hour 30 minutes. Travelling by mokoro is undeniably the best way to experience the Okavango delta you explore the waterways. After 1 hour 30 minutes or so you will reach the Island and the camp crew will set a table for you to have lunch while the are busy setting up a camp. Siesta time after that you embark on a nature walk where you have the opportunity to track game and get a close-up feel of this unique environment, here bird life is spectacular, on foot you are able to have a much more intense experience of the bush, particularly the flora and fauna that might go unnoticed. We camp wild in a remote campsite for 2 nights.

On the 2nd day early morning walk back from the walk you have brunch then siesta time. In the afternoon you will go for mokoro sunset. Relax then have dinner.
