3-Day Kruger National Park Camping Safari

Arrival and First Game Drive

Your adventure begins at 7:45 am with a shuttle transfer from OR Tambo (Johannesburg International Airport) to Hoedspruit, the safari capital of central Kruger Park. Upon arrival at approximately 13.30 you will be met by your safari guide with an open safari vehicle. This type of car gives you a 180 degrees’ panoramic view of the African savanna with a full experience of all smells and sounds, and a perfect vantage point to see over high grasses and bushes. We will spend the afternoon on a game drive in Kruger National Park and arrive at the rest camp before dark. Your guide will set up the camp and prepare dinner for you before you retire for a restful night's sleep, in your tent in the middle of the African bush.

Full Day Safari

Today is the highlight of your Kruger Safari as we will spend the entire day looking for the best animal sightings. We will get up at dawn to make the most of our Kruger safari. Your guide prepares a quick coffee and snack as we get on our way. We'll spend the morning in search of all the iconic animal species including the Big Five with a professional field guide, who will frequent dams, waterholes and riverbeds where animals can be seen. He will also show you different landscapes and tell you about the importance of vegetation and soil for different animal species that live there.

Later in the morning, we'll stop at one of the picnic spots or at the rest camp, where your guide prepares a delicious warm breakfast for you. Lunch is at your own account, dinner is again prepared by your guide.

Morning Drive and Return to OR Tambo Airport

We will depart early on our last game drive, and reach Hoedspruit mid-morning. Your shuttle departs at 10.30 am towards OR Tambo Airport (arrival at approximately 5.30 pm), where this tour ends. Whether you continue your journey in Africa or return back home, you will take a lifetime of unforgettable memories with you of your African safari experience.
