Your safari adventure begins at 07.45 at OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal with a shuttle transfer. The scenic drive takes you across 3 provinces and once we reach the mountains, you'll meet your safari guide and we'll continue the journey with a private vehicle. We'll stop at a number of viewpoints of the breathtakingly beautiful Panorama Route in the Northern Drakensberg Mountain Ranges. Upon arrival in Phalaborwa, you'll check in at your comfortable guest house and prepare for a peaceful night’s rest (dinner not included).

Your day begins with an early breakfast before checking out and heading to the Olifants River for a captivating boat cruise. As you glide through Big Five territory, you'll have the chance to observe wildlife from a unique riverfront perspective. In the afternoon, you'll continue your journey to Ukuthula Bush Lodge, where you'll embark on your first thrilling safari drive in a private game reserve, part of the Greater Kruger region. Afterward, settle into your comfortable bungalow and enjoy a delicious dinner at the lodge, preparing for another day of adventure ahead.

Before breakfast, you'll embark on another exciting morning game drive, where you'll track animal signs and immerse yourself in the raw beauty of the African bush, engaging all your senses. Afterward, return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before setting off for Kruger National Park. The day will be spent on safari in an open safari vehicle (OSV), offering you a 180-degree panoramic view of the vast savanna—an ideal vantage point for spotting wildlife and capturing stunning photographs. Your expert guide will share fascinating insights into the bush and its inhabitants. In the evening, you'll rest at one of Kruger’s well-appointed rest camps, staying in a twin ensuite bungalow. Dinner is available at the camp restaurant (not included), as you unwind after a day of adventure.

Day 4

We will get up at dawn to make the most of our Kruger Safari. Your guide prepares a quick coffee and snack as we get on our way. We'll spend the morning in search of all the iconic animal species including the Big Five with a professional field guide, who will frequent dams, waterholes and riverbeds where animals can be seen. He will also show you different landscapes and tell you about the importance of vegetation and soil for different animal species that live there.
Later in the morning we will stop at one of the picnic spots or at the rest camp, where your guide prepares a delicious warm breakfast for you. For lunch (own account), we'll stop again at one of the rest camps and later in the afternoon, we'll arrive at our new camp. Dinner is prepared for you by your guide after an exhilarating afternoon safari.

We leave the camp early in the morning for our last morning game drive, before our departure back to OR Tambo from Hoedspruit via shared shuttle where this tour ends—but not your African adventure, as you will be back soon!
