Your safari adventure begins at 07.45 at OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal with a shuttle transfer. The scenic drive takes you across 3 provinces and once we reach the mountains, you'll meet your safari guide and we'll continue the journey with a private vehicle. We'll stop at a number of viewpoints of the breathtakingly beautiful Panorama Route in the Northern Drakensberg Mountain Ranges. Upon arrival in Phalaborwa, you'll check in at your comfortable guest house and prepare for a peaceful night’s rest (dinner not included).

Boat Cruise and Afternoon Game Drive in Private Game Reserve

Our day starts with an early breakfast then check out and depart to the boat cruise on Olifants River, which is in Big Five territory, so there is plenty of opportunity for animal viewing from the unique river view perspective.
In the afternoon we'll proceed to Tshukhudu Bush Camp, where you will embark on your first safari drive on this private game reserve that is part of Greater Kruger. You will spend the night in comfortable bungalows and enjoy a delicious dinner prepared by your guide.

Morning Walk and Full Day Safari in Kruger National Park

Before breakfast a Tshukhudu ranger takes you on a bush walk which is a unique opportunity to see animal signs and tracks while embracing the African bush with all your senses. Back at the camp, your guide will have prepared breakfast for you before your departure to Kruger National Park. We will spend the day in the national park on safari with an open safari vehicle (OSV). This car gives you a 180 degrees panoramic view of the African savanna which is a perfect vantage point to see over high grasses and bushes. It creates brilliant photographic opportunities. Your expert guide provides incredible insights and captivating information about the African bush and its inhabitants. We will spend the night at one of the Kruger National Park rest camps in Kruger's standard twin ensuite bungalows. Dinner is available at the camp restaurant (not included).

Full Day Kruger Park Safari

We will get up at dawn to make the most of our Kruger Safari. Your guide prepares a quick coffee and snack as we get on our way. We'll spend the morning in search of all the iconic animal species including the Big Five with a professional field guide, who will frequent dams, waterholes and riverbeds where animals can be seen. He will also show you different landscapes and tell you about the importance of vegetation and soil for different animal species that live there.

Later in the morning we will stop at one of the picnic spots or at the rest camp, where your guide prepares a delicious warm breakfast for you. For lunch (own account), we'll stop again at one of the rest camps and later in the afternoon, we'll arrive at our new camp. Dinner is prepared for you by your guide after an exhilarating afternoon safari.

We leave the camp early in the morning for our last morning game drive, before our departure back to OR Tambo from Hoedspruit via shared shuttle where this tour ends—but not your African adventure, as you will be back soon!
