Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park

The drive to Tarangire National Park is about 110 Km and takes about 2 hours from Arusha. But it's not just elephants that make this park special. It’s also home to lions, leopards, and a myriad of bird species, making it a paradise for wildlife enthusiasts. The park's diverse landscapes, from the lush Silale Swamp to the rugged baobab-studded plains, offer a unique backdrop for wildlife sightings.

Tarangire National Park - Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Your day in and around Ngorongoro Crater could just be one of the most memorable of your whole safari. You’ll explore the crater rim and then drive down onto the crater floor, where the critically endangered black rhinos are the stars of an astonishing wildlife show. You’ll almost certainly see large-tusked elephants, at least one of the Ngorongoro’s four lion prides, and wandering clans of spotted hyenas. It also just happens to be one of Africa’s most beautiful corners, a hidden world where you’ll be surrounded by steep, deep-green crater walls, a salt lake, forests and hippo-filled waterways. You will have your lunch in the Crater and then continue with the game drive. You will drive back to your lodge for the night.

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Lake Manyara National Park

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Lake Manyara National Park

Imagine yourself in this lovely park, nestled between Tarangire and the Ngorongoro Crater. It's a place where you can witness the unique spectacle of a beautiful groundwater forest, home to blue monkeys, giraffes, elephants, lions, leopards, and a picturesque lake adorned with pink flamingos in the distance.
Stretching for 50km along the base of the majestic 600m high Rift Valley escarpment, Lake Manyara is a scenic masterpiece, a setting that even Ernest Hemingway praised as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa”. The road from the entrance gate winds through a lush jungle-like groundwater forest, where baboon troops lounge, blue monkeys scamper, bushbuck tread, and forest hornbills honk, creating a symphony of nature.
As part of your tour, you'll be treated to a delicious hot local lunch at one of our selected spots. In the late afternoon, you'll be chauffeured to Arusha where your safari ends.
