Arrival at Kigali International Airport and Transfer to your Hotel

Upon your arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will meet our driver guide who will greet you in the style of welcoming you before you head to your hotel. If you arrive in the morning time, we will proceed with a short Kigali city tour and visit Kigali Genocide museum.

Transfer to Nyungwe national, Canopy walk

After an early breakfast, our driver will pick you from your hotel and drive straight about 5hours towards Nyungwe national Park, after your lunch at Kitabi Eco center, you will start walking and experiencing the canopy walk in the highway of Nyungwe National park.

Nature walk (55km) and transfer to Karongi

After your breakfast, you will start hiking the Umuyove trail. The trail has a stunning view that lets you explore the beauty of nature and connect you with it. Along the trail, you will spot different bird species such as Rwenzori Turaco, Rwenzori-Batis…, colorful flowers, and waterfall while you can have a chance to see some monkeys. Then later you will get transferred to Kibuye along Lake Kivu.

Go to respond to the calling Islands and transfer to Rubavu

After your breakfast, take a boat to the Islands in Lake Kivu and start exploring the beauty that the Lake has to offer in real life. You will hike for some minutes to the top of Amahoro Island. Along your way, you will be welcomed by bats, monkeys, and the fresh air, which will make your experience very meaningful. Later, you will get transferred to Rubavu and check in at Nirvana Hotel.

Mount Rubavu hike and transfer back to Kigali

After your breakfast, go hike on Mount Rubavu, one of the beautiful mount in Rubavu city that will let you explore the Rubavu landscape and sceneries. It takes about 2 hours to hike it and while on the top, you will get chance to view on one time the city of Rubavu and Goma, normally called the twin cities and Lake Kivu. Along your way, you will see different bird species and meet local community. Later on, you get transferred to Kigali to fly back to your home.
