Day 1

Arrival in Hoedspruit and First Afternoon Safari

Your shared shuttle departs OR Tambo at 7:00 am and you'll make your way to the safari town of Hoedspruit for the next 5 hours. Here you'll meet your professional safari guide who takes you to the private game reserve, Tshukudu, where you'll enjoy your first afternoon game drive on an open safari vehicle with a Tshukudu ranger. In the evening, your Khalanga guide prepares a cooked dinner for you and you will spend the night in a comfortable bungalow.

Day 2

Morning walk and Kruger National Park Safari

Before breakfast, a Tshukudu ranger takes you on a bush walk which is a unique opportunity to see animal signs and tracks and embrace the African bush with all your senses. Back at camp, your guide will have prepared breakfast for you before your departure to Kruger National Park. We will spend the day in the national park on safari with an open safari vehicle (OSV). This car gives you a 180 degrees panoramic view of the African savanna which is a perfect vantage point to see over high grasses and bushes and create brilliant photographic opportunities. Your expert guide provides incredible insights and captivating information about the African bush and its inhabitants. We will spend the night at one of the Kruger National Park rest camps in Kruger's standard twin ensuite bungalows. Dinner is available at the camp restaurant (not included).

Day 3

Kruger National Park Safari

Kruger National Park Safari

We will get up at dawn to make the most of our Kruger Safari. Your guide prepares a quick coffee and snack as we get on our way. We'll spend the morning in search of all the iconic animal species including the Big 5 with a professional field guide, who will frequent dams, waterholes and riverbeds where animals can be seen. He will also show you different landscapes and tell you about the importance of vegetation and soil for different animal species that live there.

Later in the morning, we will stop at one of the picnic spots or at the rest camp, where your guide prepares a delicious warm breakfast for you. For lunch (own account), we'll stop again at one of the rest camps. Later in the afternoon, we will arrive at our new camp. Dinner is prepared for you by your guide after an exhilarating afternoon safari.

Day 4

In the morning, we'll leave the camp early and enjoy our last game drive, which takes us back to Hoedspruit via Orpen Gate. We will exchange vehicles and make our way to the majestic scenery of the Northern Drakensberg Escarpment, where you'll get to see some of the viewpoints, picture opportunities, short hikes and waterfalls of one of the largest and greenest natural Canyons of the world. It is a day you will never forget as a conclusion of a trip of a lifetime to the South African bushveld. We will arrive at OR Tambo in the evening.
