Upon arrival at the airport (Kilimanjaro or Arusha) you will be met by Nasikia Safaris’ representative and drive you to your comfort accommodation in Arusha for overnight stay at Pazuri inn waiting for your safari adventures to start on the following day.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire

Arusha to Tarangire

After breakfast at your accommodation, you will be picked up by your driver guide and drive straight to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire National Park is one of the largest parks of Tanzania that covers an area of 2,600 square kilometres. Tarangire National Park is most popular for its large elephant herds and giant baobab trees. More than 300-strong herds of elephant, visitors will find big groups of buffalo and healthy populations of lions and leopards. During the dry season, Tarangire has the highest concentration of mammals in the country. There are wild dogs and rare antelopes such as gerenuk, plus more than 550 species of birds to spot throughout the year. You will have picnic lunch boxes where you will have them inside the park in the afternoon. After lunch and further game viewing, you will drive straight to your accommodation in Karatu for relaxation, dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Serengeti National Park (central)

After breakfast at your accommodation you will drive straight to Serengeti National Park passing through Ngorongoro Consevation Area. The Serengeti National Park is the largest park on the northern circuit of Tanzania which is originated from a Maasai word “Siringet” meaning endless plains. The soils’ richness due to volcanic activity combined with the impact of the migration results in one of the most productive ecosystems on earth, sustaining the largest number of ungulates and the highest concentration of large predators in the world than nowhere else on the planet.
The park consists of animals such as buffalos, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, lions, leopards, warthogs, jackals, hartebeests etc. To the west on the Grumeti, valleys, rivers and forest can be found. Serengeti has 'kopjes', granite outcrops rising up from the plains.
After lunch and game drive inside the park, you will drive straight to your carefully selected accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at your accommodation, we will drive straight to the far north of Serengeti National Park known as Kogatende to follow the great migration of more than a million of wildebeests accompanied by hundred thousands of Zebras and antelopes. During July – October, the wildebeest are in the northern Serengeti plains, and you have a chance of seeing up to thousands crossing the great Mara River. As the sight of the wildebeest crossing the so dramatic, it is considered by many the most desirable time to see the migration. You will not only see the migration of wildebeests but also other animals such as predators hunting their prey and other birds’ species at the area.
After lunch and extensive game viewing, you will drive straight to your carefully selected accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast at your accommodation, we will proceed our game drive on the northern Serengeti (Kogatende) following the great migration. You will spend this full day on the northern Serengeti for game viewing and if you’re lucky enough you can spot the crossing at the Mara river as well as crocodiles hunting their prey during the crossing. After lunch and game drive, you will head straight for your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, you will drive straight from Northern Serengeti to Ngorongoro conservation area en-route whereby you will arrive in the late afternoon at your accommodation on the rim of the crater for relaxation, dinner and overnight before your game drive inside the crater on the following day.

Ngorongoro crater to Arusha

After breakfast at your accommodation, you will descend down the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera forming a spectacular bowl of about 265 square kilometres, with sides up to 600 metres deep and is home to approximately 30,000 mammals.
The crater offers a breathtakingly beautiful scenery and is the best place in East Africa to see the ‘Big Five’ (elephant, rhinoceros, buffalo, lion and rarely leopard). It is one of the most beautiful nature safari locations in the world and an extraordinary place to meet people from the Massai tribe.
The Ngorongoro Crater offers excellent birding, with over 500 species. You will have packed picnic lunch boxes with you and after having lunch at the picnic site, you will proceed with game drive until the late afternoon where you will ascend the crater and drive straight to Arusha where your adventures end with us.
