Serengeti National Park
Our safari tour continues today as early as 6:30am. With a packed lunchbox in hand, you’ll drive out onto the vast Serengeti plains. Be prepared for the possibility of seeing cat families on the road as they avoid the morning mist. You may also see other nocturnal predators coming back from their long night of hunting or a group of lionesses organizing a morning ambush or eating along the road.
Serengeti National Park is the scene of the Great Wildebeest Migration (depending on the season). After a bush breakfast, you will follow the migration herds and experience animal actions like eating, fighting, or even killing. Your packed lunch can be served at the picnic site or somewhere in the bush. This is a full day game drive in the Serengeti. You will return to your campsite before or during sunset for dinner and your overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater
After an early breakfast (approximately 7:30am), you will descend the crater’s 600m high walls onto the crater floor for game viewing. The Ngorongoro Crater was formed some three million years ago due to internal forces underneath the earth’s crust. Supported by a year-round water supply and ample vegetation, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area supports a large number of animal species, including buffalo, zebra, wildebeest, eland, topi, warthog, hippo, and the African elephant.
Another big draw of this unique, natural animal sanctuary is its dense population of predators, which include lions, cheetahs, jackals, hyenas and the ever- mysterious leopard. In the late afternoon you’ll ascend the crater and drive to the comfort of your safari lodge for some much-needed rest.

Ngorongoro Crater - Lake Eyasi
Lake Eyasi is a special place. It is the home of one of the world’s last tribe of hunter-gatherers. The Hadzabe bush people grow no food, raise no livestock, and live without rules or calendars. They live a hunter-gatherer existence that has hardly changed over the last 10,000 years. You’ll be able to watch their traditional methods of survival, including how they hunt. You can be sure nothing is hunted that is not used in its entirety. The Hadzabe way respects the land and all of its inhabitants, and you’ll find a beauty and peace in their way of life. After lunch, you’ll journey to Arusha to the comfort of your hotel. You’ll spend the evening reflecting on your adventures so far and relaxing with a drink as you listen to the calls of the evening.
