In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Tarangire National Park. The park is known for its huge baobab trees and large herds of elephants. Its sparse vegetation makes it a beautiful and special location where up to 300 elephants can be found looking for underground streams in the dry riverbeds. Migratory wildebeest, zebra, and buffalo can also be seen crowding the shrinking lagoons. Here, you will enjoy an afternoon game drive with a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon, you will drive to the outskirts of the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater for a hot shower, dinner, and overnight.

Serengeti National Park
Today, you drive to one of the most famous game parks in Africa, the Serengeti! The park is best known for hosting the most amazing wildlife spectacle on earth – the great migration. This is when over 1 million wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle head to and from the Mara River and the Ngorongoro Highlands in search of fresh grass and water. Other popular wild animals include the Big Five (elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard, and rhino). The many predators include cheetah, wild dog, jackal, and hyena, to name a few. Serengeti also inhabits over 350 species of birds - both migratory and resident. Enjoy an awesome game drive, and in the evening, you will drive to the campsite for a hot shower, dinner, and overnight.

Serengeti - Ngorongoro Crater
This morning, after enjoying a beautiful Serengeti sunrise, you’ll catch a glimpse of lions and other predators on their morning hunt during your game drive. After brunch, you’ll leave the park and go for the final game drive of the day while on your way to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders!
While in Ngorongoro, you have an option to visit an authentic Maasai village. Learn and experience their daily cultural life. It is very entertaining to see the Maasai warriors jumping into the air and chanting celebratory songs. Before dinner is served, enjoy awesome views of the crater below. Head to Simba Campsite at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater for your overnight stay.

Today, you’ll rise early in the morning to descend the 600m-high walls to the floor of the crater. Get up close to one of Africa’s Seven Natural Wonders! Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is considered one of the most beautiful and unique places in Africa. Here, you will find a haven of African wildlife with a diversity of habitats. You have a high chance of witnessing the endangered rhino and other Big Five animals. Enjoy a game drive and lunch at the Hippo Pool picnic site. In the late afternoon, you will drive up the crater rim to the campsite for a hot shower, dinner, and overnight.

Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha
In the morning, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park, located within the Great Rift Valley. Upon your arrival in Manyara, you will be welcomed by the view of the Great Rift Valley escarpment as well as the mischievous baboon at the entrance of Lake Manyara National Park. Lake Manyara boasts a spectacular setting and is famous for its tree-climbing lions and soda-ash lake. Blessed with forest habitat, it harbors elephant, giraffe, baboon, blue monkey and bushbuck, to just name a few. The park also provides the perfect introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife. The shores of the lake, encrusted with pink flamingos, attract more than 400 species of birds, many of them waterfowl or migrants. You will enjoy a picnic lunch. In the late afternoon, you will proceed to Arusha for your travel back home or your journey to Zanzibar.
