Arusha - Tarangire National Park
You will have breakfast served at the lodge and thereafter, you'll depart to Tarangire National Park. The park is named after the Tarangire River which runs through it. This ‘river of warthogs’ is the only source of water for wildlife in the region during the dry season. In places, the vegetation is quite dense, including elephant grass, acacia woodlands, and lush groundwater forest. The park is well known for its elephant families, which can often be seen congregating by the river. You may also see giraffes, bushbucks, and hartebeests. These animals are closely followed by a range of predators, including lions and leopards. There are more breeding species of birds found in Tarangire National Park than anywhere else on the planet!
After lunch and an extensive game drive, you'll head to your accommodation at Motto Cottages Lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater
On this day, we suggest a very early wake-up in order to proceed to Ngorongoro, the 8th Wonder of the Natural World. The concentration of African wildlife is the greatest on the continent. It is almost 20 km wide, approximately 610 m deep, and is known for its large variety of wildlife. In addition to the Big Five, the various springs attract animals such as wildebeests, gazelles, reedbucks, and more than 500 bird species. At a picnic site, you will have lunch before enjoying some more game viewing in the crater. The crater has a river, several swamps, a soda lake with a great concentration of flamingos, a forest, and open plains. It's also famous for its elephants which are the largest in the world and have huge tusks. This is due to the rich mineral content of the volcanic soil and its grasses. Ngorongoro Crater is truly a Wonder of the Natural World. You will reach at your lodge in time for a beautiful sunset and time to relax.
