Arrive at Entebbe international airport on a morning flight, then you will take an afternoon scheduled flight to Kihihi Airstrip. On arrival, you will meet your guide who will drive you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the endangered mountain gorillas and hosts a variety of spectacular birds including 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including the Blue-throated Broadbill, bar-tailed Trogon, and other beautiful forest species. Proceed to the Lodge as you look forward to a thrilling experience of gorilla tracking the next day.

Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters where you will have an orientation and meet your guides for the day. Trekking the Mountain Gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 7 hours but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the Gorillas. The trekking is a thrill and yet challenging as you hike through the forest to the Gorillas and once you reach a gorilla family, you will have a chance to observe the family in close proximity for an hour.
