Johannesburg - Kruger National Park

We will depart from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport at 7:00 am. It’s a 5- to 6-hour drive that takes you from the Highveld on a scenic route down the Lowveld escarpment to the main entrance in the southern section of the Kruger National Park. Stop for lunch enroute at your own expense.

Settle into your safari tent at Pretoriuskop and freshen up. Depart for an afternoon game drive in an open safari vehicle with a safari guide.

Please note: Children 6 years and younger are not permitted on open safari vehicles.

A 3-course al-fresco dinner under the stars is served at our private camp within Pretoriuskop.

Open Vehicle Safari Drives

You'll have an early wake-up call because the best time to see game is as the sun is rising. There’s time for tea or coffee and rusks (South African dunking biscuits) before departing on a full day open vehicle safari drive.

A 3-course al-fresco dinner under the stars is served at our private camp within Pretoriuskop.

Included: Hot beverages and rusks, light brunch and a 3-course dinner.

Kruger National Park - Johannesburg

Wake up early for hot beverages and rusks and then depart for a sunrise game drive. Enjoy a light breakfast back at Pretoriuskop Rest Camp before packing up and departing for Johannesburg.

Arrive in Johannesburg between 5:30 pm and 6:00 pm, depending on late-afternoon traffic.

Included: Hot beverages and rusks plus light breakfast.
