1-Day Cycling to Rau Forest and Cultural Experience

• You'll be collected from the airport.

At 9:00am, we ride through the TPC sugar cane plantation area with its small farms and houses. You will cycle past schools, mosques and churches. Your journey takes you to the nearby rice fields, where you will stop and, if you wish, can lend a helping hand to the field workers. Enriched by this intense experience, we visit a local family for lunch and enjoy a traditional pilau meal at their house. All fueled, you continue the bike ride through the Rau Forest, a natural beauty just behind the city of Moshi. Watch out for colobus monkeys with long, fluffy tails in the tree crowns. Listen carefully to the animal sounds as you cycle through this never-ending jungle. Our last stop of the day is the old railway station. Then, our guide will take you back to your accommodation, where you can stretch your legs and arms after a day on Tanzania's rough roads. Finally, you will be taken to the airport, which marks the end of our tour package.
