Arrive in Entebbe before 13h00 and meet our Nsavi Safaris driver-guide and start the drive to Kibale Forest National Park. The park is popular for its primates like chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and L'Hoest's monkeys among others. You will arrive in the late afternoon or evening and check in at your accommodation.
Optional activities at an extra cost are available if you arrive in the early afternoon. Go for an excursion in the Bigodi wetlands to sight a few primates and birds, visit a crater lake, visit the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves for some cultural and historical insights, or take a walk to visit the Sempaya Hotsprings in Semuliki National Park.

Morning chimpanzee trekking and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will go for chimpanzee tracking and enjoy a wonderful forest experience with these habituated chimpanzees. These engaging apes are the closest species to human beings and are great to watch as they are playful both on the ground and in the trees. Have lunch and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is one of Uganda's most popular parks, offering scenic game drives. It has a wide variety of wild animals and over 600 bird species, incorporating a wide variety of habitats that range from savannah to wetlands and lowland forests. Later, we proceed to the lodge.

Game drive and boat ride on Kazinga Channel
Have an early morning game drive. There are over 100 mammal species in this park, including lion, hippo, buffalo, leopard, spotted hyena, elephant, and the elusive giant forest hog. You will also visit the salt lakes in Katwe before returning to the lodge. In the afternoon, you will have a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. This channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward. Here, you will have a chance to see different animals coming to the water, as well as a variety of bird species. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive after the boat ride in the park. Later, we return to the lodge.

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the largest population of mountain gorillas and hosts a variety of spectacular birds, including 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species. They include the blue-throated broadbill, bar-tailed trogon, and other beautiful forest species. Tonight, you will go to bed early so that you are well rested for a thrilling experience of gorilla tracking the next day. We proceed to the lodge for check-in.

Gorilla Trekking
After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters where you will have an orientation and meet your guides for the day. Trekking the mountain gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 7 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will give you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the gorillas. The trekking is a thrill, although challenging, as you hike through the forest to the gorillas. Once you reach a gorilla family, you will have a chance to observe the family in close proximity for an hour.

Drive to Lake Mburo National Park, game drive
Today, we drive to Lake Mburo National Park. The park forms a mosaic-like habitat with rocks, dry slopes, open and wooded savannahs, forests, and swamps increases. This diversity of habitats has a variety of birdlife with 313 bird species recorded in the park. They include the flame-head barbet, long-tailed zitting cisticola (Tabora), African bins rail, collared barbet, and binding bush singer among others. You will have a game drive as you enter the park and see animals such as topi, impala, giraffe, eland, waterbuck, buffalo, and zebra.

Morning nature walk, and departure
You will get up early morning for a guided nature walk and game drive and then return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. Drive back to Kampala crossing the equator, and later drive to Entebbe International Airport to connect with your onward flight back home.
