After an early breakfast, you will depart Kampala proceeding to Fort Portal. You may get to Fort Portal at around 2:00 pm when you will have lunch. After lunch, you may choose to go for a nature walk around the crater lakes with spectacular views. This can be arranged prior to your arrival at an extra cost. Thereafter, you will proceed to your lodge later in the afternoon.

Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale Forest and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
You will get up early for breakfast and thereafter, your driver guide will lead you to the park headquarters in Kibale Forest National Park. After a short briefing by one of the park staff, you will be allocated a guide who will lead you into the forest to find the chimpanzees. This park is the only place in East Africa where one can have the best primate tracking viewing the chimpanzee—man’s closest relative. After lunch, we will then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park.

Morning Game Drive & Boat Safari on the Kazinga Channel
You will wake up very early and set off at 6:30 am for a morning game drive with an aim of catching sight of the early risers in their natural habitat. Expect to see the Big 4; elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, bushbucks, kobs, giant forest hogs, hyenas, waterbucks and many birds. After lunch, we will head to the jetty for an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that connects Lakes Edward and George. Expect to see a number of animals along the bank and a variety of water birds.

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Today you will set off to Bwindi via Ishasha the southern sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will do a short game drive in search of the tree-climbing lions. Expect to see a number of elephants, buffaloes, lions, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, leopards, and hyenas. Thereafter, you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

Gorilla Trekking Experience
This day is always regarded as the biggest of all days on the safari. So, after breakfast, your driver guide will drive you to the park headquarters where you will be briefed by one of the park staff. Thereafter, you will meet with the lead guide who will take you into the forest to find the gorilla family that you will be allocated to. This may take between 2-7 hours round trip depending on how long the family you are trekking will have moved today from where it was last seen yesterday. Depending on how you feel, you may go out for an evening community/cultural walk through the villages very close to the forest.

Drive to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will depart Lake Bunyonyi for Kampala or Entebbe with a lunch stop in Mbarara and also at the equator for a photo shot and some shopping of souvenirs as you may wish. After this, you'll continue to either Kampala or Entebbe to catch you fly back he. This will also mark the end of our memorable and lifetime safari.
