Our destination is the central Serengeti, known as the Seronera region—one of the park’s most wildlife-rich areas. The Seronera River serves as a vital water source, attracting a diverse range of wildlife representative of the Serengeti’s iconic species.

Experience the Serengeti from Above & Explore Its Wildlife Wonders
For a truly unforgettable adventure, take to the skies in a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti Plains (available at an additional cost with prior arrangement). Drift silently over the awakening wilderness, witnessing wildlife in their natural habitat while taking in the breathtaking landscapes of Africa.
After the morning game drive, a visit to the Serengeti Visitor Centre, near Seronera Lodge and the public campsites, offers fascinating insights into the park’s ecosystem and history.
In the afternoon, we will explore the Kopjes Circuit, which loops counterclockwise around the Maasai Kopjes. These ancient granite formations are known to attract lions and even large cobras. Kopjes serve as miniature ecosystems, providing shade and water in natural rock pools after the rains. During the dry season, they become prime spots for wildlife viewing, as predators lie in wait for animals seeking water.
