Pick-up from Victoria Falls Airport and Sunset cruise

Once you arrive at Victoria Falls International Airport (VFA), you will be picked up and transferred to your place of accommodation. It is important that you let us know your details beforehand, as the collection time will depend on the arrival time at Victoria Falls Airport. A sunset cruise then awaits you. The pick-up time will be 15h30 in winter and 16h00 in summer. You will cruise along the banks of the river. On this sunset cruise, you will sail up the mighty Zambezi River as the sun goes down. Immerse yourself in the natural delights of the golden Zimbabwean sunset as you observe birds flocking to the waters and watch animals arrive for their last drink of the day. All of this will happen while enjoying tasty finger foods and a full open bar to wrap up the day.

Guided Tour of the Falls and Night Game Drive and 3-Course Bush Dinner

Day two commences with a morning pick-up at 09h00 from the hotel reception for a guided tour of Victoria Falls. You will be picked up by a driver-guide. The experience takes you through parts of the Victoria Falls rainforest to the cliffs opposite the massive cascade. At 4:00 pm you’ll be taken to a private reserve located approximately 7 miles from the center of town, here you will enjoy a late afternoon game drive until sunset. Meander in an open, well-kitted 4X4 vehicle through a changing landscape of scenic basalt plains, to the Kalahari sands, and teak forests of the Nakavango Private Game Reserve. At sunset, you will stopover at a splendid vantage point to enjoy some drinks and snacks, stretch your legs and chat about the afternoon’s adventures with fellow travelers. At dusk, the spotlight comes out to give you the opportunity of seeing what happens at night in the African bush. The 3-course BBQ meal is complemented by wine, cold beer and light refreshments.

Chobe Extended Day Trip from Victoria Falls

This is a full-day game viewing safari in the Chobe National Park with a difference. Because you are picked up earlier, this is the choicest time to encounter some of the big cats and nocturnal animals on the 1-hour drive to the border through the Zambezi National Park. You will be at the Chobe National Park`s gate slightly before 6:30am to start the day with half-day game drive in the park. This is the best time to see big cats, as they will still be active and hunting. The drive will continue until your break for lunch about noon. Lunch will be at the Chobe Safari Lodge (served buffet style) and after lunch, you will have some time to relax before the afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River. This is a 3-hour cruise starting in the afternoon and ending about sunset. You will be back to your hotel around 8:00pm.

You will visit Livingstone city where you have the chance to view the local markets, drive through ancient buddings, and basically appreciate the day-to-day activities and survival of the local people.
