Nairobi - Maasai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast at the camp, we proceed on the drive to Maasai Mara with brief leisure stops at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and other spots along the way. On arrival at Maasai Mara, we proceed to the camp for check-in and lunch. Later, we proceed for an afternoon game-viewing drive in the reserve.

Offering superb plains scenery, unmatched safari activities and diverse wildlife, the Maasai Mara National Reserve is considered Kenya’s best park and one of Africa’s highest wildlife-density regions for predators. The reserve covers 583 square miles (1,510 square kilometers) of outstanding wilderness in Southwest Kenya. We return for dinner and overnight at the camp.

Maasai Mara National Reserve

We go on a sunrise game drive. After breakfast at the camp, we leave with picnic lunch boxes for a full day's exploration of the wilderness. When you dream of Africa, chances are that you dream of the Maasai Mara. This huge expanse of gentle rolling grassland, specked with flat-topped acacia trees and trampled by massive herds of zebra and wildebeest, is the ultimate African cliché. For once, the reality lives up to the image.

The Maasai Mara, which comprises not just the famous reserve but also around a dozen community conservancies, several group ranches and numerous Maasai villages, is for many people not just the highlight of their Kenyan adventure, but the very reason they came in the first place.

Maasai Mara - Nairobi - Departure

After breakfast at the camp, we head back to Nairobi. A sumptuous lunch will be organized at the famous Carnivore Restaurant for a leg of lamb, pork, ostrich, beef rump, sirloin, rack of lamb, spare ribs, sausages, skewered kidneys, and even crocodile.

Later on, we drop you off at Jomo Kenyatta Airport for your flight back home.
