Nairobi - Amboseli National Park
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed on your drive to Amboseli National Park with brief stops for washrooms and other stops along the way. On arrival at Amboseli, we proceed to the lodge for check-in and lunch. After enjoying your afternoon Kenyan tea and coffee, we head out in the afternoon for an exciting game-viewing adventure.
The name "Amboseli" comes from a Maasai word meaning "salty dust", and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here, ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, to savannah and woodlands. You can also visit the local Maasai community who live around the park and experience their authentic culture. We return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 3
Amboseli National Park
Amboseli National Park
Today, we go on morning and afternoon game drives in this spectacular park. Amboseli National Park is one of Kenya's most popular parks and is crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. Amboseli belongs to the elite of Kenya’s national parks, and it’s easy to see why. Its signature attraction is the sight of hundreds of big-tusked elephants set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro (5,895m). Africa’s highest peak broods over the Southern boundary of the park. While cloud cover can render the mountain’s massive bulk invisible for much of the day, you’ll be rewarded with stunning vistas when the weather clears, usually at dawn and/or dusk.
Apart from guaranteed elephant sightings, you’ll also see wildebeest and zebra, and you have a reasonable chance of spotting lions, cheetahs and hyenas. The park is also home to over 370 bird species, and it has an excellent array of lodges and an agreeably mild, dry climate. We return for dinner and overnight at the lodge.
